'TELL THEM WHAT YOU WANT,' SMITH URGES EAST NEUKERS

The consultation on the Kirkcaldy & Mid Fife Local Plan which, controversially, includes parts of the East Neuk, ends on Saturday 7th September and Iain Smith MSP urged residents of Largo and Lundin Links to get involved and put in their comments before the deadline. 'Local people know their own areas best, so they should ensure that Fife Council is made well aware of the issues. I know, for example, that there is great concern about the future of a piece of land in Lundin Links near the bowling club so it is of the utmost importance that the residents make their views clearly known on that and any other controversial areas so that a coherent plan relevant to the requirements of the people is achieved.'
